Born and raised in Maine, I moved to Philadelphia for college, anxious to take in all that the big city had to offer. City life wore on me, I met my future wife, and we realized that Maine was where we wanted to live and start a family.
Upon college graduation, we moved to Maine and I started a career in IT. Shortly after the move and marriage, we purchased our first home using a close friend as our Realtor®. He and my wife worked to convince me that a duplex was the best move, and it was! We lived in one part of the home and had our mortgage paid for by renting out the other. It was the outstanding service during that transaction that inspired me to pursue a career in real estate.
While working in IT, I quickly realized I didn’t have the desire to sit behind a computer for the rest of my life. I went back to school to earn an MBA hoping to ignite some passion. During my final year in school, I decided to obtain my real estate license – the best career move I could have made! Shortly after, I transitioned from an IT career to a full-time Realtor®. This is the career I was meant for! I truly love what I do, so quite often it doesn’t feel like work. As a bonus, I’m able to utilize my IT background to give my clients an edge, whether they are buying, selling, or both.
When not helping buyers and sellers realize their real estate dreams, I enjoy hiking with my family, playing and coaching basketball, and paddleboarding at our camp. I love Maine and love helping others put down their roots here.
